Department of Physics and Electronics

Physics is the branch of science dealing with the inanimate world and its natural phenomena.

The Department of Physics and Electronics has a spacious laboratory and is well equipped with all the necessary instruments including a computer. 

Physics and Electronics motivate individuals to learn more about the world. It is the systematic investigation of the physical world around us to discover the laws of the universe. Physics has a wide scope in research and technology.

The Department was established in the year 1997 and has eminent staff. The staff at the same time is well-versed and up-to-date with the latest changes in the field. At times, the department organises various workshops, walk-in talks, paper presentations and seminars.

The changing social needs and development of new technologies have opened up new communication services leading to automation in industries and offices. The spectacular developments in Electronics, Digital Electronics, Computers, Switching Devices, Power Electronics and Communication system are responsible for this resolution facilitating universal connectivity.

Thus to provide students with a sound understanding of existing Electronics theory and Computer Devices undergraduate courses in Electronics and Computer Maintenance are run by the Department.

About Laboratories


Physics Laboratory

In Physics the Laboratories play a very significant role for understanding of the fundamentals. Department has separate Laboratory for Optics, Mechanics and Laser . These Laboratories are spacious and well equipped with high precision measuring instruments. New instruments are added regularly as per the requirement.

Electronics Laboratory

To impart the practical knowledge and better understanding of Electronics,well-equipped electronics laboratories are established.

Future Aspect

You Students have the option to continue higher studies or to take up a job. Going for higher studies is more recommendable as scope thereafter is higher. Students can if you wish continue in the same stream i.e. go in for M.Sc in Physics. They can choose your area of specialisation like Applied Energy, Solid State Electronics, Theoretical & Computational Physics etc. After that you can go in for M.Tech, M.Phil, Ph.D. Since you are from Physics background Maths would be one of the subjects studied. So you can go in for a MCA course for which you may need to appear for entrance exam. You can also go in for an MBA too. You can choose your area of interest. If you want to become a school teacher you could probably take up B.Ed and appear for the SET exam. You can if you wish work as a trainee in any labs. You need to take a decision on which of these best suits you.

Name of the Activity: - Workshop on “Foot Sanitizer Dispenser” Event Date: - 23-11-2021 and 24-11-2021 No. of Participant: - 37 students Topic: Foot Sanitizer Dispenser Introduction: The foot-operated sanitizer dispenser stand dispensates a precise amount of soap solution (or a similar liquid such as a hand sanitizer). Type, capacity, operating mode, end-use, distribution channel, and region are all factors that may be used to segment the hand sanitizer dispensing machine market. Health care, coffee shops, colleges & universities, schools, retail complexes, subway stations, hotels & restaurants, and others are among the end uses for hand sanitizer distributing machines. The hand sanitizer dispensing machine market is likely to benefit from the rise in cleanliness concerns in the healthcare industry. Foot sanitizer dispensing machines are user-friendly, cost-effective, and require less maintenance. All of these characteristics are predicted to contribute to the sanitizer distributing machine's growth. Details of Workshop: 23-11-2021 Detail description of Kit and device required 24-11-2021 Installation of Foot Sanitizer machine In this workshop total 37 student participated from different colleges Outcomes: However, a surge in price-based rivalry among market participants at the international and local levels is projected to stymie the industry. Local and regional players from developing nations are increasingly breaking into established markets with low-cost hand sanitizer distribution equipment. The market may be divided into four categories based on capacity: less than 1.5 litres, 1.5–2 litres, 2.5–3 litres, and more than 3.5 litres, however this can work up to 50 litres with less cost This is predicted to stifle the industry in the near future. Two students of our college Akshay kale and Rohit Kale developed the Foot sanitizer machine and donate to our Institution.

Graduates dependent on lecturers to tell them what’s what would not have been well equipped for the outside world!!
